But the bigger issue is, how do you eliminate the incentives that encourage breeders to continue along the same path they're on?

I am sure this one didn't help USongs fortunes for the future. But I am sure there are some out there that will still take the chance to breed to him, even considering the unsoundness that might go along with it

| ryesteve 5/6/2008 9:55:41 AM | I wish you were right, but I can't help but think that people are still going to spend 7 figures on the 2yos that can do a furlong in 9 seconds, regardless of how sturdy his pedigree looks.
