"Jeff,

I've been downloading your data for a while now.

I just found out I can use .JCP files in another program I have (instead of Brisnet files.)

After I run a .JCP File Build where do I find the .JCP files I just built?

And how do I copy them to another folder?"

Q. Where do I find the .JCP files I just built?

A. When you run a .JCP File Build your .JCP files are written to the folder you set up as DataFolder 1 in the DFM.

This is also the same folder displayed on the face of the HDW File Mgr before, while, and after running a .JCP File Build Routine.

In the screenshots below I have the c:\2023\Q2_2003 folder persisted in the DFM as DataFolder1.

Yours is the folder you have persisted in the DFM as DataFolder1 (and that's where you'll find .JCP files you've built.)

Q. How do I copy .JCP files to another folder?

A. Use Windows File Explorer. Navigate to the folder where your .JCP files are (shown in the above post.)

Display file extensions and details for that folder.

Highlight the .JCP files you want to copy.

COPY the highlighted group to the Windows Clipboard using the CTRL + C keyboard combination.

Navigate to your Destination folder.

And PASTE the highlighted group to the Destination folder using the CTRL + V keyboard combination.

Alternately, you could open two instances of File Explorer (with your Datafolder1 folder in the first instance and your Destination folder in the second.)

And just Drag and Drop the highlighted group of .JCP files to the Destination folder.

But after a while it becomes second nature.
