Want to start on the new UDMs for my winter tracks by
running all UDMs against my database, but most of
my UDMs have jocks and trainers from my summer track.

Is there an easy way to disable the jockey/trainer
function by changing a -1 to 0 in a profile table
interface while leaving the rest of the UDM as-is?

Looked in each, but couldn't find them. Probably me,
so would appreciate someone pointing me in the right
direction.

Thanks!!

It's easy.

UDM Wizard Screenshot -click here-

The above screenshot shows the lower left hand corner of the UDM Wizard's Modify UDM Screen. Note that the Rider Name Test box is checked... which causes the rider names in the ridername field to be active.

In playlist file mode, to disable constraints for rider or trainer name while leaving the rest of the UDM intact... just uncheck the Test box and click Save.

In SQL Mode, to disable constraints for rider or trainer name while leaving the rest of the UDM intact... remove the part of the SQL Expression describing the constraint for rider or trainer names and resave the SQL Expression.

Thanks, Jeff.

Was hoping that they were listed on 1 of the
Profile table interfaces so I could just go
"click - 0 - click - 0- click - 0" and down the list
like when i want to make all of the UDMs for a
specific track inactive (restrict this track list
test changes for -1 to 0).

This works, just not as easy as I was hoping. Guess
you have me spoiled by being able to make global
changes so easy in the Profile Table Interface.

If you prefer the Profile Table Interface you can certainly do it that way... Use the Profile Table Interface Connections view... you'll find the name test fields just to the left of the ridername and trainername fields respectively.

Field Name:
ridernametest
'
Value:
0 causes inactive state
-1 causes active state

Field Name:
trainernametest
'
Value:
0 causes inactive state
-1 causes active state
