MNR off-track code

Is the off-track designator working on the UDM
Wizard and the Data Window in JCapper 2008?

I know MNR has had a bunch of off tracks this year,
but I can't get them to read for UDM's. Every "D"
designation comes up with the same number of winners
and the same number of horses.

You'll need to go to FILTERS, Preset filter tool, scroll down. Require and filter out different track conditions are below trainer starts as you are coming down the list.

Now that I know how to make a UDM that can
be used on off tracks, it would probably help
if I knew how to set today's track to an off track.

Where is the option to change the track setting
for loaded cards from fast to some variation of off?

It's Easy - It's in the Surface drop down of the Manual Changes Module.

Thanks - but next question:

Am I supposed to get the "Clear All Scratches"
window to pop up after I change the surface
and hit save - even if I don't want to clear the scratches?

Not really. It's something I'll have to take a look at. The prompt only appears when no Scratches are present for today's loaded cards. For now, just answer no at the prompt.
