And DR - D*R - dR.

Which is the dirt track and which is the all-weather?

And, what is the difference between DS and D*S?

T*    All Turf Surfaces ------------- all distances

Q. Which is the dirt track and which is the all-weather?

A. Upper Case D is outer main dirt. Lower case d is inner dirt which happens to be Gulfstream Tapeta.


Q. And, what is the difference between DS and D*S?

A. DS is outer main dirt sprint distances only.

The * is a wildcard character used here to designate all dirt surfaces.

D*S is all dirt surfaces sprint distances only.
