Now I know it's short notice but -- As it so happens there's a handful of JCapper users who live right here in the San Diego area... If any of you would like to join in (it's informal) - just a bunch of guys hanging out at the track for a day talking shop and playing the races - Shoot me an email. jeff @ jcapper . com (remove the blank spaces first) -jp .

| jeff 8/19/2010 10:42:40 PM | Always nice to meet up with some fellow players/posters from Paceadvantage... I joined a nice friendly group of horseplayers and we spent the afternoon talking about the state of the game... with me talking about some goals for HANA... and we even worked a few races together. (The only bet I made while at the track that afternoon was a sprinter stretching out in R10 at Santa Rosa who led for 5f and quit. [I did have a very nice Sun morning playing Fort Erie before setting out for the track live.]) Ted Craven and I talked shop for a while... As a solo handicapping software author I can't begin to tell you what a pleasure it was to meet someone I could call a peer... And then before I knew it, the last race was over and it hit me how fast the day had gone. I can honestly say, I think a good time was had by all. -jp .
