Louisville Handicap....5-22-10 |
JustRalph 5/22/2010 8:04:33 PM | Did anybody else catch Free Fighter in the Louisville Handicap on Saturday ? Race 10, feature race. In my opine, this is the exact type of horse Jcapper excels in finding. JPR 2 with Bris Data...huge workout numbers......I had only a few UDM's catch the horse...but it was never in doubt. Got a good ride from a Jock and Trainer I have never heard of either. Almost 13-1
I am curious how the horse looked in HDW data?

jeff 5/23/2010 1:17:16 AM | Certainly gettable using HDW data Ralph...
Power Ratings: UPR(1) (for me) JPRClass(1) PowerConsensus(1) Alchemy(1) JPR(5) (using my paceline settings)
Form #1 in all of the Form categories on the report... FormRating, WoBrill, AFR, BF, and Form Consensus... More importantly Highlighted on the bottom of the html report as a Form Consensus pick (in the event you don't have any UDMs you really should be paying attn to this.) Also RtCycle=1 (worth paying attn to as well.)
PScore HDW 95.6(1)... something else worth paying attn to for those using HDW data.
Btw, Francisco Torres has some ability. My guess is he won't be someone you haven't heard about for very long.
And FWIW, as long as we're redboarding the runner up in this race, BEARPATH, was my JPR(1) horse.

STUBALL 5/23/2010 8:41:02 AM | This redboarding has to stop..NOW! Just kidding guys actually this is exactly what we neeed more of to learn how everyone else is doing...I am doing some trainer analysis and Chris Block is a very capable trainer.I have written a SQL that checks performance of all trainers in a given race. Chris Block was 32% same surface---within 1 f. + or - --- he was 8 for 25 with 1.172 win roi. --UNDER RATED but as capable of some in this race...and much better than most...I need more tools to do this easier..data is there we have to find a way to dig it out and highlite it.the way I am doing it causes me to miss quite a few opportunities...

Stu, the above is very interesting to me. I am still using playlist mode.....will have to think about this one........
Jeff, Redboarding aside.......I was shooting for some info on HDW data.....in a race I was familiar with or worked on for a while. I have used HDW data before, with another program and think it is superior in most areas.
I find your post interesting.
