| JimG 2/8/2009 2:03:45 PM | Thank you Bill and Steve. I appreciate it. I intend to concentrate more on contest play vs regular play this year. I enjoy the head to head combat. A throwback to the days I was in better shape and played sports actively. In the next to last race, I got stuck with the favorite when a FTS I liked was a gate scratch. If I could have changed, I would have played the place horse which would have been enough to win it. However, I was very lucky that race did not hurt me. The last race was exciting as I was imploring Mike Smith to hold on then hoping all the guys ahead of me (I was 4th at the time) did not have the same horse. Goodall had him as well so he won. It was my first time playing on the site. They are seasoned tournament players for the most part. Since qualifying for NHC last year, I get a real charge out of tourney play.
