Once you've connected to an alternate JCapper2.mdb file, you can use a custom sql expression (or the default) to export data out of the connected to JCapper2.mdb file.
Also just like the Data Window, the connection terminates as soon as you exit the JCX File Exports Module.

Caveat 1/6/2015 7:42:08 AM | Jeff...
I tried a couple of times and it gives me 2015 info..
It shows ( in red) that I'm connected to my old data but it still give me data from 1-1-2015

Caveat 1/6/2015 8:37:44 AM | Jeff..
Had to play around to get what I wanted...
For some reason , when I chose the old DB jcapper resorts back to the default file.
So I ...
moved current out... renamed old to default
Extracted the info I wanted and then set up back to normal.. When I need to add info to file I used append..
When you get a chance, see if yours works the same..

jeff 1/6/2015 10:05:21 AM | Mike, renaming JCapper2.mdb files in the manner you describe will certainly work. (Just be sure to reverse the file rename when you are done.)
Mine is not the same - mainly because I'm working with a newer (unfinished) version of the module that I'm not ready to publish yet.

jeff 1/8/2015 11:28:01 PM | Sorry for not posting earlier Mike... I'm in Arizona visiting family for the next several days. (Expect to be back in San Diego sometime next week.) Internet spotty at best where I am staying.
Ya, definitely some new toys on the way. Need to complete the full write up first before I can publish.
There's a lot to like here. So far as exports are concerened - custom sql expressions fully enabled - any table, any JCapper or JCapper2 .mdb file. Also added a reporting engine so you can see field names and data types - any table, any JCapper or JCapper2 .mdb file.
There's a lot more - but you'll have to wait for the full write up to come out.
