rkskipster 4/22/2013 2:27:35 PM | jeff -- could you find out if they changed the hdw file for the 9th race at lone star sunday. reason i ask , checking udms for sun. one of my longshot udms ($65) triggered when i checked the results, but did not trigger when i calculated the race. (still doesn't). i thought there was a scratch of a horse, nope full field.how do you explain this? I have been using this udm for over a year no problems (bris) and still no problems after switch to hdw. any ideas??

Could that be it?

rkskipster 4/23/2013 1:28:22 PM | jeff there is nosurface or distance restrictions. the weird part about this is that one of the factors is #1 upr rank, this horse was ranked #2 on dirt or turf , so the surface change should not affect the udm. any idea what the problem is. I ran the udm through the data window for upr rank and it came back only #1 upr ranked horses. ???? fyi the upr gap was 3 or 4 pts. thanx in advance rick

jeff 4/23/2013 3:37:00 PM | Tell you what...
Shoot me an email with the name of the UDM and a copy of your c:\2004\JCapper.mdb file attached.
If you are operating in sql mode, include a cut and paste of your sql factor setup in the body of the email. (Bring up the SQL Expression Tool in the Data Window and hit the Display Factors button.)
I'll load your file on one of my machines and run a set of reports on the race in question. (From there it should be pretty easy for me to see what's going on.)
