| TPW 2/23/2013 8:00:58 AM | I'm not one to typically tout a product or service, but I expect many of you at one time or another have looked for a horse racing simulation game and found that they really don't exist in a fairly realistic form. In messing around in the Apple App Store, I found a game called "Starters Orders 4 - Flat Edition". Clearly is a European developed game and is not brand new based on jockey's, but it is great fun for less than $10. Allows you to wager (Win or Each Way, English bookmaker term) on every race, as well as manage your own stable. The racing simulation is very good as you can see jockey's scrubbing, checking and whipping their mounts. Photo finishes and even inquiries make this a fun game to play. The depth of play includes form for each horse including chart comments. Believe it or not, you can actually trip handicap in this game and not uncommon for mid to long price horses to win, so not focused on favourites. Anyway, I'm finding it very enjoyable (probably too much so) and thought I would recommend the title to the group. Terry
