Earlier today, HDW cut new chart files for races run at RD and made them available for download.
Use the Queue Charts Files button to queue up charts files.
Scroll through the list of queued up charts files and CTRL-Click the ones for RD.
Download the highlighted RD charts files to your hard drive.
Run an .xrd file build routine for RDX using the following date range: 04-27-2012 to 05-10-2012 (and you're guaranteed to cover the dates with the revised times.)
If you are importing data from the HDW text charts results files into your own spreadsheet or app, you'll need to re-import the revised charts into your app - and then re-run whatever number crunching routines you are using.
If you are relying on JCapper to handle your database needs:
Q. What about horses that ran in one of the mistimed races?
Q. Have any already come back to run in another race?
A. Yes. Some of them HAVE come back to run. And not just at River Downs. That means data based on those mistimed RD running lines - fractional time, final time, and speed and pace figs based on those bad times - is hosed.
Ron Tiller at HDW is compiling an access table for me that will contain the corrected data. Once I have that in my possession I will be writing a special app which will be made available to the JCapper user community. When you download that app and run it, it will:
1. Pull data for the corrected running lines from the access table created by Ron at HDW.
2. Pull up any .JCP files you have that contain errant past performance lines for horses whose races were mistimed.
3. Replace those errant running lines with corrected data.
4. ReSave each affected .JCP file - giving you .JCP files that contain the corrected data.
--Check back as I will post an update once I get the access table with the corrections from Ron at HDW...
