On march 11 at tampa bay downs on races 2,3, and 5 report generator and sql html report wont recognize about distance 8.2 furlong distances. I have my systems settings at last 6 races for logical surface and distance. On race 5 i believe the distance of the race is 8 furlongs but some of the horses had races at 8.2 furlongs which weren't picked up the sql html report or the past performance generator.

This screenshot shows the StartersToday table for TAM 03-11-2012 R3 open in Microsoft Access. I've (ever so crudely) circled the dist field using a red mouse pen. Note that the race distance in yards is (accurately) recorded in the dist field... in this case 1800 yds... which translates to the race distance of 1 Mile and 40 yds.

Also note that all internal calculations in JCapper (number crunching, UDMs, UPR, UserFactors, etc.) are based on the actual race dist in yards...

This is important because it means that factors such as JPR, UPR, UDMS, UserFactors, etc. as well as simple factors such as DtShift, etc. are being handled correctly by the program.

Screenshot #2
This screenshot shows the sql html report header for TAM 03-11-2012 R3 and a pdf chart for the same race.

Race dist displayed in the sql report header is "8.f" and race distance from the chart is 1 mile 40 yds. (I'm guessing this is what you are referring to in your post.)

While yes, this is a bug - it is a bug that is cosmetic in nature only and doesn't impact any of the number crunching going on in the program.

Screenshot #3
This screenshot shows the User Sys Defs Screen. In your post you mentined the paceline selection settings that I've circled in red.

These settings are not impacted by (or even remotely related to) the cosmetic race distance displayed in the sql html report header.

These settings do control which races are evaluated when generating the factor in the program known as "PaceLine." That is the only thing they do.

These settings do not have anything to do with past performance running lines displayed in the PPs Generator.

Q. What setting does control display of past performace running lines in the PPs Generator?

Screenshot #4
This screenshot shows the Enhanced Settings Module - with the PPs PaceLine Display setting circled in red. This is the setting that controls display of running lines in the PPs Generator.

Screenshot #5
This screenshot shows past performances for the #2 horse with the PPs PaceLine Display setting in the Enhanced Settings Module set to "0 Display All Available PaceLines."

Note that all running lines for the horse are displayed.

Screenshot #6
This screenshot shows past performances for the #2 horse with the PPs PaceLine Display setting in the Enhanced Settings Module set to "9 Filter PaceLines By Today's Surf/Dist."

Note that only dirt running lines within 1/2 furlong of today's race distance (1800 yds) for the horse are displayed. (The cosmetic display of race distance on the header for the sql html report does not impact running line display in the PPs Generator.)
